My name is John Lomas. I am a software developer with over 13 years of professional experience spanning enterprise desktop and web applications.
Software development has a continual change in technologies. This change requires an ongoing building of new skills. This site will focus on learning various web technologies from front end to back end. There will also be exploration of design principles applicable to software development in general.
One way of mastering something new is to study something, have someone teach you, and then you teach someone else. In that spirit, my goals are to learn and to teach what I am exploring. I will add new topics as my learning progresses.
